A Coventry Cross of Nails (in German, Nagelkreuz von Coventry) is a Christian cross made from iron nails, employed as a symbol of peace and reconciliation. This form of the cross echoes the crucifixion of Christ, and the nails with which Christ was affixed to the cross according to some accounts. ~~ Matt. 13:55 and Mark 6:2-3 imply Jesus was a carpenter, the Nail Cross is sometimes referred to as the Carpenter's Cross.
In some parts of the world, It is also known as Passion Cross . It is also referred to as the Cross of Suffering representing the nails that Christ suffered at his Crucifixion.
